Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single stroller to double stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is able to be set up to be a triple travel system with the addition of an infant car seat. It offers 24 configurations in total and is the highest-rated stroller. The model is made of Baby Jogger's comfortable, breathable TENCEL fabrics that help with thermal regulation and are sustainable sources. It features an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as the belly bar. It's 20% smaller and lighter than the leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a convenient magnetic peek-a-boo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the easiest to adjust and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline and there is an adjustment button for the footwell to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of room, but we would have preferred to have a more secure latch. It's easy to access but we discovered the zippers to be a little frustrating since they have to be completely undone and refastened to each use.
Like its siblings Like its brothers, the City Select has single-action brakes which are easy to set and release with the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It's comfortable for barefoot and sandals and is an improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake lever that a few of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller that we have examined that accepts two infant seats. It's a great choice for parents with twins or expecting a baby soon. It can be used with most major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it using the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q, and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent option for families who already own car seats, but need a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you may prefer a convertible stroller for this scenario.
